Weinsanto Spring 2027

Victor Weinsanto took a trip to Ibiza, circa 1990s, for Spring 2027, sending a playful mix of animal prints, sexy clubwear and relaxed silhouettes down the Paris runway. Zebra, leopard and reptile patterns appeared across everything from corset dresses and bra tops to workwear skirts, windbreakers and skater shapes, giving the collection a distinctly after-dark energy without making everything feel like a costume.

The animal prints were the obvious attraction, particularly a blurred leopard sequin camisole, zebra-print capri trousers and a matching dressmaker coat. Coppery knitwear softened the sharper pieces, while sheer shoulder capes layered over some of the sexier dresses gave the silhouettes a little restraint.

There was still plenty of Weinsanto theatre, with drag performer La Grande Dame opening the show in a beaded minidress, but the clothes were allowed to do more of the talking this season. The result was a collection that kept the designer’s instinct for camp and club culture while bringing his famously exaggerated volumes down to earth.
