Marco Rambaldi Spring 2027

For Spring/Summer 2027, Marco Rambaldi stayed close to home, exploring the private spaces where identity is formed and where the outside world can be temporarily shut out. The collection had an intentionally relaxed, thrown-together quality, with silk scarves printed with puppies and floral wallpaper fabrics transformed into skirts. Crochet became its defining detail, worked across denim jackets, silky slips and evening dresses with voluminous skirts.

The handwork appeared throughout the collection in smaller details too, from crochet pouch bags and the yoke of a ribbed sweater to a long, slim black dress that closed the show. There was something familiar and domestic about the techniques, reinforcing Rambaldi's idea of clothing as an extension of the spaces and objects we surround ourselves with. The strongest looks found a balance between craft and ease, allowing traditional crochet to feel youthful rather than nostalgic.

Not everything landed with the same precision. Some of the looser pieces felt unfinished, while stiff silver shorts and trousers sat somewhat awkwardly alongside the softer fabrics. Still, the collection's focus on handwork and traditional techniques gave Rambaldi a clear direction. Spring 2027 suggested that there is plenty left to explore at home — particularly when the home in question is a wardrobe built around craft, comfort and personal expression.
