Bottega Veneta Spring 2027

For Spring/Summer 2027, Louise Trotter softened Bottega Veneta's familiar language of leather craftsmanship, introducing lighter fabrics, airy lace, crochet and a more relaxed approach to dressing. The collection still revolved around the house's expertise in handwork, but this season craft was used to create a sense of lightness and ease. Even the leather parrot tulips placed around the show space hinted at the more homespun mood to come.

The clothes moved between crisp tailoring and softer, more undone pieces. Elongated jackets were paired with simple chinos and gauzy pink silk trousers, while sack dresses and satin peacoats brought a looser silhouette. Lace and crochet drew on the knitting and stitching traditions of the Venice region, while fringe became one of the collection's most distinctive details, worked into hip scarves, sculptural bubble skirts and an oversized straw bag.

Trotter described the collection as existing somewhere between polish and organic imperfection, and that tension gave Spring 2027 its character. Bottega Veneta's craft remains central, but rather than relying on the weight of woven leather, the collection explored how craftsmanship can feel lighter, more relaxed and more natural for summer.
