Chopova Lowena Fall 2026
For Autumn Winter 2026, Chopova Lowena took its eccentric world of folklore, femininity, and sport to a curious new frontier: the golf course. The collection, inspired by the Regency era and the culture of golf, might sound absurd in theory but unfolded with a kind of confident mischief that has become the brand’s calling card. Co-founders Emma Chopova and Laura Lowena set out to explore British heritage through a collision of elegance and eccentricity. Empire-line waists, puff sleeves, and rose-trimmed blouses met argyle knits, kilt skirts, and golf bag jackets. The result was a wardrobe that felt both historical and refreshingly humorous, a study in how tradition and kitsch can coexist on the same green.
The pair also revisited their signature craft techniques with renewed intensity. Their beloved carabiner skirts appeared in tiered, floor-length forms made from collaged deadstock fabrics, while corseted bodices and panniers were built from repurposed upholstery and tartan offcuts. The duo’s meticulous approach to upcycling continues to set them apart, merging past collections into new hybrids that feel alive with memory. In one look, flocked denim from 2021 reappeared beside lace from 2025, proving that sustainability can be a source of creativity rather than constraint. Every piece seemed to tell its own story, stitched from fragments of history, both real and imagined.
This season also marked the launch of Chopova Lowena Feelings, an ongoing intimates line featuring embroidered poetry that celebrates “primal emotions from joy to fear.” It was a softer counterpoint to the brand’s maximalist energy, expanding their world into something intimate and accessible. Even without a live show, the collection radiated community and playfulness, underscoring the brand’s belief that fashion should be felt, not just worn. From tartan-clad fairways to Regency ballrooms, Chopova Lowena continues to prove that British eccentricity remains one of the most vital forces in fashion today.
