ArdAzAei Spring 2027

Bahareh Ardakani continued the romantic story of ArdAzAei for Spring 2027, translating the elaborate world of her couture “Nightingale’s Rose” collection into a more fluid, wearable wardrobe. Dresses, soft separates and delicate knitwear brought pleating, draping and custom lace closer to the body, while the designer’s precise approach to construction remained visible throughout.

Slinkly jersey, silk chiffon, cotton and soft wool were shaped through pleats, smocking and sculptural cords that gathered the body. Ribbed rhombi and geometric patterns reflected Ardakani’s background as a trained gemologist, adding texture and structure to the otherwise fluid silhouettes. Dresses dominated the collection, from romantic floor-length gowns and cocktail styles to lightweight cotton pieces designed for daytime layering.

Colour also marked a shift for the young label. Moving beyond the blacks and purples of its earlier collections, Ardakani introduced vivid reds, oranges and sunny yellows, bringing a brighter energy to her romantic vocabulary. A tan version of her signature suit provided a more grounded counterpoint to the dresses.

The change reflects a designer becoming increasingly assured in her own language. ArdAzAei is also growing commercially, with a recent Monaco pop-up followed by plans to launch ready-to-wear and a dedicated capsule at Harrods in London in November. Sustainability remains central too, with 67 per cent of materials GOTS-certified and the complete knitwear offering fully certified. Spring 2027 felt like another step forward for a label moving from emerging name to increasingly established presence.
