Sinead Gorey Fall 2026
At London Fashion Week, Sinead Gorey’s Fall 2026 collection, titled Bar Belles, channelled the energy of a Friday night out with your best friends — that pre-party anticipation where anything feels possible. Shown against a backdrop buzzing with unapologetic fun, the collection captured Gorey’s signature mix of cheek and confidence. “I’ve been looking inwards to my own wardrobe and what I want to wear to the pub on a Friday night,” she explained backstage, framing the collection as an ode to friendship, escapism, and the enduring art of dressing up when the world feels heavy.
The clothes themselves were pure London attitude: micro miniskirts, plaid chainmail slips, Mongolian-style shearling coats and structured corsetry that blurred the line between armour and flirtation. Military-style braiding ran across denim jackets and second-skin dresses, lending the collection a rebellious precision. The collaboration with Kickers grounded the looks with a nostalgic kick — literally — nodding to the DIY spirit of British youth culture. Despite the revealing cuts, there was nothing fragile about these women. The models met the cameras head-on, beer caps popping, defiant and electric.
Gorey’s work thrives on contradiction: part party girl, part street fighter, part romantic. The collection reimagined the Spice Girls-era girl power ethos for a new generation — one less interested in perfection, more in presence. With its mash-up of eras, from Victorian corsets to Y2K gloss, Bar Belles celebrated self-expression in all its forms. It was proof that sometimes, the most political thing you can do is show up, dress up, and take up space.
