Prada Fall 2026

If you were wondering how to dress for a topsy-turvy world, Prada had the answer. The Fall 2026 collection, designed by Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, offered a beautifully unsettling lesson in layering, proportion, and controlled chaos. Tailored coats were paired with oversized scarves, cropped parkas, and dimensional furry ties, while pastel kitten heels encrusted with crystal chandeliers met equally adorned socks. The collection felt at once familiar and unpredictable, a reflection of Prada’s ability to twist its signature codes with humor, tactility, and intellect.

Layering was the heart of the show. Thick leathers collided with sheer skirts, sweaters draped over dresses, and cotton drawers peeked from beneath trim pantsuits. Dresses from the 1950s were zipped down the front, shirts hung open, and shorts and crop tops were layered with sheer undergarments. Many pieces were intentionally distressed, frayed, or purposefully soiled, creating a sense of imperfection that was thrilling and human. Accessories, from petite alligator bags to feathered lace-up boots, contrasted the chaos with hyper-luxury, highlighting Prada’s balance of sophistication and whimsy.

The runway experience itself mirrored the philosophy of the collection. Models stormed through the space in multiple passes, adding and removing layers to reveal new outfits and hidden details. The set, a hollowed-out mansion with centuries of paintings and furniture, became a layered backdrop that echoed the creative layering on the clothes. Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons framed the show as an exploration of continuous change and the complexity of modern life, proving once again that Prada thrives in imperfection, spontaneity, and the thrill of discovery.
