NAHMIAS Fall/Winter 2026

Doni Nahmias returned to Paris Fashion Week after three years away, bringing with him a distinctly Californian breeze. His Fall/Winter 2026 collection, aptly titled Wipeout, channelled the grit and spirit of West Coast surf and skate culture through what he called “deliberate imperfection.” The result was a wardrobe that felt personal and worn-in, celebrating the beauty of failure and resilience. Denim came heavily beaded to mimic splashing water, while raw hems, aged leathers and suede board shorts captured the tension between luxury and the everyday. Hawaiian prints, crochet stars and patchwork bombers spoke to youth, freedom and a refusal to take fashion too seriously.

The energy of the show was that of a Venice Beach afternoon translated for Paris — playful, chaotic and full of confidence. Nahmias balanced nostalgia with ambition, presenting pieces that felt easy but never careless. Oversized knits, ballooned tracksuits and loose tailoring carried the laid-back polish of a brand growing into its own identity. A model with a bandaged wrist, another crowned in crochet stars, and cartoon headpieces worn with a wink reminded audiences that imperfection is part of the story. The collection’s soundtrack, featuring a live performance by street drummer David D’Amato, reinforced the connection between movement, sound and self-expression.

If Wipeout marked a creative reset, it also introduced the next chapter of the NAHMIAS universe. A collaboration with PUMA brought a co-branded capsule of suede Speedcat sneakers and reimagined loafers, bridging streetwear and sportswear with an elevated finish. Even the brand’s signature denim bomber received an indulgent twist, embroidered with crystals to symbolise sea spray. Nahmias has always drawn power from his Californian roots, but this season he showed a sharper understanding of how that carefree sensibility translates on an international stage. The message was simple: fall, get up, and look good doing it.
