Loewe Fall 2026

For Fall/Winter 2026, Loewe presented a collection that redefined playfulness and craft on the Paris runway. Designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez infused the house with a joyous, youthful energy, exploring unexpected textures, shapes, and motions. Coats moved with the flutter of a “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” wing, slipdresses quivered like gelatin, and shearling jackets were sculpted with whimsical precision.

The duo leaned into craft as a central language, building on the legacy of Jonathan Anderson and the Loewe Foundation Craft Prize. Inflatable channels appeared in outerwear, scarves, and gingham skirts layered beneath wool coats. Latex was molded into boudoir-inspired silhouettes, while fluffy textures were elevated with meticulous grooming techniques. Sculpted leather jackets, fused to appear machine-perfect, exemplified the designers’ philosophy: supreme craftsmanship can erase traces of the hand, creating an almost industrial perfection.

The palette was bold, with searing color punctuating taxi-cab yellow accents across the runway and garments. Accessories extended the playful sportiness: rubbery kitten heels evoked swim shoes, wide-wale corduroy jeans incorporated shearling, and visor-like sunglasses anchored to the head added a dynamic, sporty edge. Inspiration from artist Cosima von Bonin was visible in hand-painted floral prints, gingham touches, and stuffed sea creatures accompanying front-row guests such as Sissy Spacek, Julia Garner, and Lil Yachty.

Overall, Loewe FW26 was a vivid, kinetic celebration of craft, humor, and imagination, marrying technical mastery with a sense of joy and irreverence, signaling the continued evolution of the Spanish house under McCollough and Hernandez.
