Leo Prothmann Fall 2026

Leo Prothmann’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection, CABAÑA, marked a milestone for the London-based designer as his first inclusion on the official London Fashion Week schedule. Inspired by a transformative trip to San José del Pacífico, Mexico, the collection is a meditation on warmth, structure, and the dialogue between body and environment. Mist-laden landscapes and timeworn architecture informed the palette, with earthy muds, forest greens, mustard and oxblood translated into sculptural silhouettes. Oversized leather parkas, modular capes and Prothmann’s signature caged forms, constructed from offcut leather strips reinforced with internal boning, combine technical precision with a sense of ease, creating garments that bend and yield to the wearer while retaining architectural clarity. Every piece reflects longevity, echoing the designer’s philosophy of leatherwear as functional sculpture, much like furniture meant to endure.

Collaborations enrich the universe of CABAÑA without overwhelming its vision. Dr. Martens reimagined the Jadon boot with cargo pockets and waterproof, breathable construction, while Cubitts contributed limited-edition resin sunglasses that mirror the collection’s curved lines. Jewellery by Ollivion adds sculptural touches inspired by mythology, and contouring thermals developed with Carmela Dias of London College of Fashion support the architectural integrity of the garments. Stylist Edda Gudmundsdottir shaped the visual language, ensuring that the play of color, proportion and material feels lived-in rather than imposed. With CABAÑA, Prothmann presents leatherwear that is as emotionally resonant as it is technically accomplished, a collection where structure and softness coexist in perfect tension.
