Lanvin Fall/Winter 2026

Lanvin marked its centenary in menswear with a Fall/Winter 2026 collection that celebrated history while looking firmly to the future. Artistic director Peter Copping staged an independent presentation in Paris, drawing inspiration from Jeanne Lanvin’s 1920s trip to Venice with her niece. The showroom itself became part of the narrative: a gentleman’s living room of leather chairs, silver plinths, and weathered hoodies set the scene, evoking a sense of personal history as the clothes took centre stage.

The collection was rich with archival detail reinterpreted for modern wear. Fortuny-pleated tuxedo pants and plush Tessitura Luigi Bevilacqua velvet adorned jeans, jackets, and slippers, while dense embroideries originally destined for cocktail dresses elevated dark shirts. Cocooned alpaca coats suggested garments that could be handed down generations, and Art Deco–inspired knitwear added a subtle nod to the maison’s decorative arts heritage. Meanwhile, asymmetrical collars, arcade-like stripes, and animal-print blousons injected a playful ’80s edge without undermining the overall sophistication.

Copping also reimagined Lanvin’s footwear, introducing the Lnv2, a low-profile sneaker with trapunto stitching, alongside a lighter iteration of the house’s signature skate-inspired shoe. Together, the collection framed the modern Lanvin man as a cultivated traveler: elegant, worldly, and grounded in the maison’s century-long menswear legacy. Every piece balanced intimacy with refinement, offering a quietly assured statement on Lanvin’s enduring approach to style and craft.
