Lanvin Fall 2026
For Fall 2026, Lanvin creative director Peter Copping looked to the spirit of 1920s Paris with a collection titled Bonjour Minuit, translating the decade’s elegance and independence into a contemporary wardrobe. Presented inside the mineral galleries of the Jardin des Plantes, the setting’s marble floors and vitrines of crystals framed the silhouettes with striking clarity. Rather than recreating the past, Copping distilled its attitude through sculpted tailoring, precise structure, and silhouettes that moved with quiet authority.
The collection opened with sharply cut suits that echoed the legacy of Jeanne Lanvin while remaining distinctly modern. Charcoal and midnight tailoring hugged the body before releasing into fluted skirts, offering strength without rigidity. As the show progressed, silhouettes expanded into controlled volume: lantern shaped gowns, spiraling velvet drapes, and languid dresses in glossy jersey or tuxedo inspired fabrics. Outerwear became a focal point, with coats in garnet wool and ivory gabardine featuring sculptural collars, curved lines, and dressmaker details such as godets that added movement and swagger.
Copping anchored the palette in nocturnal Parisian tones including black, navy, storm grey, and muted mauve, punctuated occasionally by mineral greens. Accessories subtly referenced the 1920s with geometric bags, elongated gloves, dramatic hats, and tall riding boots that introduced a slightly mysterious edge. The result was a confident, grown up vision of the Lanvin woman, one that balanced discipline and allure while reaffirming the house’s enduring commitment to craftsmanship, elegance, and modern femininity.
