Kimhеkim Fall 2026
The message printed on every seat at the Kimhеkim Fall 2026 show read, “You are all a work of art.” It was a fitting sentiment for South Korean designer Kiminte Kimhеkim, who chose to celebrate his label’s tenth anniversary by turning the compliment outward. Before the candle-topped cake even appeared, the atmosphere was electric. Fans screamed for the K-pop group Alpha Drive One, attending in their new role as ambassadors for Concept Korea, the national programme supporting Korean designers at Paris Fashion Week.
A decade in, Kimhеēkim used the occasion to revisit his greatest hits. Models walked around stacked artwork crates in candy-coloured A-line minidresses, asymmetric blazers with oversized pearl buttons, and sharply tailored coats with sculpted shoulders that narrowed elegantly at the waist. His playful trompe-l’œil skirts, designed to mimic shirts with sleeves tied around the hips, reappeared alongside floaty blousons and polished outerwear. The result was a confident display that captured his trademark balance between experimentation and wearability, each piece carrying that sense of cheerful irreverence that has come to define his brand.
Kiminte’s eye for the unexpected has built a loyal following that now stretches well beyond Seoul. As he expands his retail presence with a new store in Paris, he seems intent on deepening that connection. “It’s easy to connect with Kimhēkim through social media,” he said, “but visiting our shop is something totally different, something you can really feel.” For a designer who treats fashion as both craft and conversation, this anniversary felt less like a look back and more like the beginning of a new chapter — one written in optimism, colour and a very deliberate sense of joy.
