Ganni Fall 2026

At the centre of Ganni’s Fall 2026 presentation during Paris Fashion Week stood an enormous rock slowly being transformed into a painting, a live performance that set the tone for the collection. Creative director Ditte Reffstrup described the gesture as a meditation on strength and fragility, two ideas that quietly shaped the clothes. Rather than dramatise the contrast, Reffstrup approached it with softness. The result was a collection that felt more romantic than the label’s typically playful, punchy take on the “Ganni girl.”

Lace appeared throughout the lineup, embroidered discreetly with the house name and woven into slips, bloomers and full layered skirts that floated with delicate volume. These gentler pieces were balanced with the pragmatic textures that define the brand’s Scandinavian sensibility. Chunky knits, sculptural coats and patchwork blanket skirts made from thick wool offcuts anchored the look, while cloud-like asymmetric nylon puffers crafted from discarded fishing nets added sculptural shape while reinforcing the label’s commitment to better materials. Reffstrup, who grew up in the windswept Danish port town of Hirtshals, described the clothes as suited to that kind of bracing environment. She also cited Björk as a reference point, a figure whose quiet physical presence masks a powerful creative intensity.

Accessories, an increasingly important part of the business, received particular attention. The brand introduced a larger, lockable iteration of its popular Bou bag called the “Very Bou,” alongside the Jenny boot, developed from last season’s studded ballerina. Both incorporate plant-based leather alternatives such as Ohoskin, derived from orange peels, and Oleatex, made from olives. As Ganni continues expanding its presence in Paris while maintaining its roots in Copenhagen, the collection suggested a designer who is refining her language rather than reinventing it, allowing the brand’s charm to mature without losing its sense of ease.
