Ernest W.Baker Fall/Winter 2026
Ernest W. Baker made a striking entrance into the runway world with its Autumn/Winter 2026 collection, presenting a line of elevated tailoring that honours the brand’s origins. Creative directors Reid Baker and Inês Amorim took inspiration from the concept of a journey, connecting past seasons with a sense of forward motion. The debut show, staged aboard the riverboat La Péniche “River Palace,” reinforced this theme, with leather sailor shirts, striped knitwear, and nautically inspired closures echoing movement and passage.
Classic checks, including tartans, were reinterpreted across the collection, appearing in knitwear, leather, tailored loafers, and baguette bags. This repetition of coordinated sets created a cohesive, recognisable brand aesthetic, while silhouettes combined sharp tailoring with subtle experimentation, from slightly boxy blazers to flared trousers. Accessories were minimal yet thoughtful, with tailored loafers offering a nod to 1980s style.
Swarovski embellishments brought a refined sense of spectacle to the collection. Crystals were intricately embroidered onto tailoring, leather, knitwear, and accessories, forming patterns inspired by constellations and shooting stars. These delicate details reflected the overarching narrative of navigation, ambition, and new beginnings, cementing Ernest W. Baker’s AW26 collection as a confident first step on its runway journey.
