ArdAzAei Fall 2026 Couture
For Fall 2026 Couture, Bahareh Ardakani presented a collection that marked a new chapter for ArdAzAei. While inspired by the Persian tale of The Nightingale's Rose—a story associated with beauty, longing and love—the collection relied less on literal storytelling and more on the precision of couture construction.
Presented during Paris Couture Week at the historic 12Victoria, the collection reflected a growing confidence in the house's design language. Rather than translating the narrative directly into garments, Ardakani allowed craftsmanship, structure and material exploration to become the focus.
Working almost entirely from the house's Paris atelier, Ardakani and her team developed techniques that balanced architectural construction with lightness. Pleating echoed the texture of feathers, geometric smocking referenced the symmetry of Persian gardens, and layers of silk, lace and chiffon created depth without overwhelming the silhouette.
The collection also marked a shift in colour. Alongside ArdAzAei's familiar neutrals and lavender tones, warmer reds, copper ochres and vivid cobalt blue introduced a richer palette inspired by Persian miniature paintings and historic textiles.
Construction remained central throughout the collection. Ardakani approached couture with the precision of an engineer, developing complex techniques while stripping away unnecessary embellishment. The result was a series of garments that felt lighter and more assured, demonstrating an increasing confidence in the house's evolving identity.
Sustainability also continued to underpin the collection. Having built ArdAzAei around responsible sourcing and certified textiles, the designer expanded her material vocabulary this season while maintaining the principles that have shaped the brand since its launch.
With Fall 2026 Couture, ArdAzAei demonstrated that a young couture house can evolve without abandoning its foundations. Rather than relying on symbolism alone, Bahareh Ardakani allowed technique, construction and craftsmanship to become the collection's strongest form of storytelling.
