For Spring/Summer 2027, Stacey Bendet took Alice + Olivia into a fantastical world of oversized florals, elaborate embellishment and Park Avenue glamour, blending technology with traditional craftsmanship.

Stacey Bendet has never been particularly interested in understatement, and Alice + Olivia’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection embraced that instinct fully. Inspired by Alice in Wonderland, the collection transformed the brand’s Park Avenue setting into a surreal garden filled with oversized flowers, theatrical installations and an enormous stiletto sculpture. Rather than treating fantasy as escapism, Bendet used it to explore how fashion can remain playful and tactile at a time when technology is increasingly shaping creativity.

The most impressive pieces combined traditional craft with the collection’s digital influences. An opera coat covered in tapestry-like botanical embroidery was paired with a halter scarf top and tailored midi skirt, while a voluminous ball gown featured architectural garden scenes built from beadwork, gold thread and intricate embellishment. The effect was maximalist without relying entirely on printed imagery, with texture and handwork giving the fantasy a sense of depth.

Bendet also balanced the extravagance with sharply considered tailoring. An ivory silk tuxedo offered a clean counterpoint to the oversized botanical motifs, while sequinned cardigans, striped shirting, cropped shorts and ties brought a more playful, everyday sensibility to the collection. Elsewhere, feathered miniskirts, lace babydoll dresses and theatrical platforms leaned into the eccentricity of Wonderland without becoming entirely costume-like.

That balance is what gives the collection its appeal. Bendet understands that fantasy works best when grounded by familiar silhouettes, allowing a dramatic ball gown or elaborate embroidered piece to sit alongside something as simple as a tailored suit. For Spring 2027, Alice + Olivia made a case for fashion as spectacle, craftsmanship and, above all, enjoyment — a reminder that luxury does not always have to take itself so seriously.
