Ujoh Fall 2026
For Fall 2026, Ujoh approached its design language through the idea of antithesis. Designer Mitsuru Nishizaki, working alongside co creative director Aco Nishizaki, described the concept not as a rupture but as a process of questioning. The Ujoh Fall Winter 2026 collection reexamined the label’s established codes, aiming to refine and reaffirm the brand’s identity while introducing subtle shifts in proportion and structure.
Signature elements remained visible throughout the Ujoh Fall 2026 collection, particularly the layered construction and tab tie details that have long defined the label. At the same time, silhouettes expanded and softened. Looser volumes and A line shapes appeared alongside asymmetric cape like panels and sharp pleating, including Bermuda shorts layered over tailored trousers in classic menswear fabrics. The tension between structure and movement shaped the overall direction of the Ujoh Fall Winter 2026 lineup, creating garments that balanced restraint with experimentation.
Craftsmanship and material exploration were central to the Ujoh Fall 2026 collection. The designers incorporated textiles woven on a vintage Schöherr loom, whose slow process produces a loose weave that allowed a translucent nylon ribbon to be integrated into black wool, forming a semi transparent check fabric. Hand cut fringing, unexpected V shaped zippers across jackets and popper fasteners along sleeves introduced moments of disruption within otherwise classic pieces. Sheer lace layers contrasted with heavy knits and structured outerwear, while check shirting subtly referenced the grunge era. The collection also intersected with music through a collaboration with the Japanese pop duo Dreams Come True, whose upcoming tour costumes were presented on the runway and whose songs accompanied the show’s finale.
