RANRA Autumn/Winter 2026
Born in Reykjavik and based between Iceland and London, RANRA has always treated functionality as an art form. For Autumn/Winter 2026, the brand looked to an unexpected source of inspiration: beeswax. The material, a staple of Nordic craftsmanship, once used to waterproof wool and leather, became both concept and metaphor. On the Copenhagen runway, beeswax stood in for resilience — a substance shaped by nature yet capable of enduring the elements. This collection, the label’s most tailored to date, explored how form and function can meet without compromise, infusing practicality with quiet poetry.
Tailoring took centre stage, with soft suiting, relaxed blazers and trousers rendered in earthy neutrals and bright jewel tones that nodded to the flowers bees harvest in early spring. Outerwear remained the brand’s anchor: shearling-lined puffers, bomber jackets and the signature silk-layered coats reappeared in updated proportions. Leather and wool were treated with beeswax to create a subtle sheen and a water-resistant surface, giving each piece a sense of natural protection. The craftsmanship felt slow, deliberate and deeply grounded in the landscape that inspires it.
RANRA’s strength lies in its ability to make the technical feel emotional. The collection’s palette of warm browns, honey golds and forest greens reflected the glow of beeswax itself — dependable, pliable and luminous. Every garment seemed designed to weather not only Iceland’s winters but modern life, too. By merging traditional material knowledge with contemporary tailoring, RANRA continues to redefine Nordic design for a global audience. This season’s message was simple yet profound: resilience can be worn, and warmth can be built, one layer at a time.
