Philipp Plein Fall 2026

Philipp Plein is gearing up for what may be the most ambitious year of his career. The designer is relocating his family from Europe to New York, preparing a pre-Oscars extravaganza at his Bel Air mansion, and planning a show in Cannes timed perfectly with the film festival. Amazon has also decided it’s time to peel back the rhinestone curtain with a forthcoming documentary about the man himself, fashion’s self-proclaimed enigma. From the rooftop garden of his Milan showroom, surrounded by models painted with glittering leopard spots and a bustling Amazon film crew, Plein described it as “finally, the untold story.”

His calendar reads like a blockbuster script. There’s the Los Angeles show at Chateau Falconview, cohosted by an unnamed actor, followed by a high-glamour Cannes presentation at his newly expanded French Riviera compound. And then, in September, a “big show” in New York’s Central Park, a fitting homecoming for someone whose girlfriend loves The Box on Chrystie Street and whose aesthetic thrives on spectacle. Plein speaks of New York with the enthusiasm of a man already halfway there, charmed by the idea of snowstorms and inflatable pool toys for his children.

That sense of excess and theatricality pulsed through his Fall 2026 collection. Influencer Sergei Kosenko, known as Mr. Thank You, opened the show waving a fistful of cash, while another model toted a gold “money bag” clutch, because understatement is never the point with Plein. Leopard-print coats, faux mink jackets, and sky-high crystal boots swept the runway, joined by silk gowns strung with gold jewellery and minidresses embroidered with tigers. One standout look - an olive sequin dress paired with snow boots, imagined a woman trudging through a blizzard to The Box, heels tucked in her bag. It’s Plein in a nutshell: unapologetically bold, endlessly entertained, and always on his way to the next party.
