Ottolinger Fall 2026

At Paris Fashion Week, Ottolinger marked its tenth anniversary with the Ottolinger Fall/Winter 2026 collection, a show that looked both backward and forward for the Berlin label. Cofounders Christa Bosch and Cosima Gadient titled the collection “Female Fool,” borrowing the phrase from Isa Genzken and her exhibition The Only Female Fool. The idea celebrated women unafraid to take up space, make questionable decisions and continue moving regardless, a spirit that has long shaped Ottolinger’s irreverent approach to design.

The Ottolinger Fall 2026 collection balanced the brand’s signature disruption with a more mature sensibility. Outerwear led the lineup, including fuzzy faux fur chubbies and puffer jackets constructed from sleeping bags, pieces that reflected Ottolinger’s playful approach to deconstruction. Skinny leather trousers and velour tracksuits nodded to early 2000s nostalgia, while oversized pussy bows on men’s jackets and striped shirts reinforced the label’s fluid take on gender. The designers also revisited some of Ottolinger’s recognisable signatures, including the shredded dress silhouette and pieces with almost Victorian proportions in puff sleeves and pied de poule checks.

The Ottolinger Fall Winter 2026 show unfolded inside a black painted room of a former French Army headquarters, where cinder block seating and an open window overlooking the Paris skyline created an industrial atmosphere. Ten years into building Ottolinger, Bosch and Gadient are also refining the business behind the label. Europe remains its core market, though sales continue to grow globally, and the Ottolinger Fall 2026 collection marked the brand’s first exploration of leather. The shift suggests a gradual evolution in both materials and audience, reflecting a label that is growing up while keeping its rebellious instinct intact.
