La DoubleJ Fall 2026

Golden hour has never felt so literal. As guests stepped onto the rooftop terrace of La DoubleJ’s Milan headquarters, the light itself seemed to participate in the show, catching on sequins, silks, and swirling prints. For J.J. Martin, founder and high priestess of positivity, Fall 2026 was all about energy specifically, how the right timing can shift everything. Inspired by a sacred site tour of Ireland, Martin turned her spiritual pilgrimage into a vivid visual language. The centerpiece of her creative awakening came at Trinity College Dublin, where she encountered the illuminated Book of Kells, whose ninth-century manuscripts fused Christian iconography with mythic beasts and intricate knotwork. Those motifs resurfaced in the collection as dragons, serpents, and Celtic curls, all rendered in exuberant color.

Print has always been Martin’s primary dialect, but here it felt newly charged. Her signature florals and geometrics mingled with the fantastical, appearing on flowing silk shirts, palazzo pants, and pleated minidresses designed for movement and joy. A standout addition was a sweeping, ruched-shoulder gown that manages to look ceremonial and celebratory at once - a ready-made wedding guest hit with spiritual undertones. Everything felt fluid, rhythmic, and intentionally alive, like fashion as a moving meditation.

Outerwear became the surprise revelation of the season. Martin reimagined coats not as barriers to beauty but as extensions of it. A voluminous brushed-check peacoat made a convincing argument for pattern at scale, while a soft gray oversized coat with pink feather appliqués proved that even practicality can vibrate higher. With La DoubleJ Fall 2026, J.J. Martin once again proved her point: when fashion is made with intention, even a cold Milanese afternoon can feel like sunlight.
