KidSuper Fall/Winter 2026

KidSuper’s Fall/Winter 2026–2027 show at Paris Men’s Fashion Week reminded audiences that Colm Dillane’s work has always existed somewhere between fashion and performance art. The collection, titled Outside the Box, opened with an original short film written and directed by Dillane and starring Vincent Cassel, a figure whose early roles shaped the designer’s creative imagination. The film felt like a continuation of the KidSuper narrative that has unfolded over recent seasons, an ongoing experiment in how clothes, cinema and storytelling can share the same emotional language.

The collection explored what happens when systems, both creative and human, begin to repeat themselves. On screen and on the runway, Dillane’s characters searched for meaning within an increasingly automated world, caught between memory and invention. The film’s tension carried into the clothes: relaxed tailoring, layered textures and bursts of surreal print created a rhythm that felt both cinematic and deeply personal. It was fashion as philosophy, each look echoing the show’s central question — if everything feels scripted, where does humanity live?

What has long defined KidSuper is not shock but curiosity. Dillane’s work continues to blur the boundaries between fashion, film, sport and art, turning the runway into a testing ground for new ideas. With Outside the Box, he seemed less interested in spectacle for its own sake and more in exploring connection. The result was a show that felt imaginative yet grounded, proof that KidSuper’s power lies not in defying convention but in expanding what fashion can say.
