JimmyPaul x Pokemon Fall 2026
At London Fashion Week, Amsterdam-based designer JimmyPaul reminded everyone that fashion can still be fun. His Autumn/Winter 2026 collection, created in collaboration with Pokémon and aptly titled Roam, turned the runway into a technicolour dreamscape. The show unfolded as a ten-world odyssey through the Pokémon universe, filled with nostalgia, imagination and unfiltered joy. Each world represented a different emotion and aesthetic, blending playful storytelling with haute couture craft. The result felt like a journey through childhood memories reimagined through an adult lens of creativity and excess.
JimmyPaul’s love for Pokémon is lifelong, and that affection came through in every exaggerated silhouette and sculptural flourish. Think plush faux fur in lemon yellow and green, bulbous coats that looked like wearable sculptures, and sparkling polka-dot textures inspired by the creatures themselves. The show’s spirit of experimentation and humour stood out amid a week often defined by minimalism and restraint. The models radiated happiness, their looks backed by the upbeat pulse of pop classics that made even the most jaded fashion editor crack a smile.
Beyond spectacle, Roam offered a deeper narrative. Working with Pokémon licensee Difuzed, JimmyPaul is translating his runway fantasy into wearable pieces that fuse pop culture and high fashion. The aim is to make the playfulness of the collection accessible to fans beyond the catwalk. It is a collaboration that celebrates both nostalgia and newness, bridging the imaginative world of Pokémon with contemporary design sensibilities.
True to his ethos, JimmyPaul also kept sustainability at the heart of his work, using deadstock fabrics, vintage materials and reworked textiles from past collections. The show captured what London Fashion Week often strives for but rarely achieves: pure, collective delight. It was fashion that made you feel something, that reawakened a sense of wonder. In JimmyPaul’s world, creativity is the most powerful kind of nostalgia — one that reminds us that dressing up is still an act of joy.
