Isabel Marant Men’s Spring 2027
For Spring/Summer 2027, Isabel Marant's menswear looked less like a seasonal collection and more like the contents of a well-travelled suitcase. Under the direction of Kim Bekker, the collection celebrated the idea that personal style is built gradually, shaped by the places we visit and the objects we choose to keep.
Inspired by journeys stretching from Ibiza and Tangier to Seoul and Los Angeles, Bekker imagined a man whose wardrobe evolves through experience rather than trends. Vintage belts mixed with contemporary pieces, weathered leather jackets sat alongside faded slogan T-shirts, and layered jewellery felt collected over years of travel instead of carefully curated for a runway.
Rather than relying on professional models, the presentation featured artists, musicians and creatives from across Europe, photographed by Brett Lloyd against a clean white backdrop. The casting reinforced the collection's message that individuality comes from personality rather than styling alone, with many participants wearing their own jewellery alongside Isabel Marant's accessories.
Relaxed straight-leg denim formed the foundation of the wardrobe, layered with lightweight checked shirts, slouchy tailoring, colourful knitwear and Americana-inspired staples. Tassel belts, chunky beads and silver jewellery added texture without feeling excessive, while sun-faded colour blocking and washed fabrics evoked garments that had travelled as much as their owner.
There was a welcome sense of authenticity running throughout the collection. Rather than presenting bohemian dressing as a costume, Bekker treated it as something accumulated naturally over time, where every piece carries a memory or story. It's an approach that feels increasingly relevant as luxury consumers gravitate towards wardrobes with longevity and personal meaning.
Spring/Summer 2027 wasn't about reinvention. Instead, Isabel Marant delivered a confident collection that embraced lived-in style, proving that the most compelling wardrobes are often those built over years of collecting, travelling and wearing the pieces you genuinely love.
