Alberta Ferretti Fall 2026

While the fashion world prepares to descend on Milan for the Winter Olympics, Alberta Ferretti looked elsewhere for inspiration. The Italian house opened Dubai Fashion Week with its first full-scale presentation in the Middle East, a move that felt both strategic and symbolic. For creative director Lorenzo Serafini, the decision was less about geography and more about spirit. Dubai, he said, is a cultural crossroads where tradition and transformation coexist, a duality that mirrors Ferretti’s own language of modern romance. The result was a show that unfolded like a warm-weather sonnet to elegance, framed by desert light instead of Milan’s winter chill.

Serafini’s Fall 2026 collection built on his idea of the “progressive romantic,” a woman defined by quiet confidence rather than spectacle. Eveningwear floated down the runway in soft silhouettes of chiffon and velvet, the palette moving through ruby, aubergine and pale gold. Feathers, beading and delicate embroidery caught the light without ever overpowering it. The standout looks were the simplest: caped velvet gowns that felt architectural in their restraint, suggesting a new kind of luxury rooted in self-assurance. It was the kind of beauty that asks for nothing and offers everything.

Daywear was equally refined. Victorian influences surfaced in twisted jackets, ruched shirts and pleated trousers that balanced structure with ease. Leather pieces, finished with subtle shibori treatments, added texture without losing softness. Flat ballerinas and slouchy boots grounded the looks, underlining Serafini’s belief that modern glamour must move with real life. In Dubai, Alberta Ferretti showed that restraint can be its own form of seduction, and that elegance, when done right, travels anywhere.
