On the 2026 Grammys Red Carpet
It was one of those nights where the fashion felt louder than the music. The 2026 Grammy Awards red carpet gave us ruffles, feathers and enough sequins to light up Los Angeles, all gleaming under a haze of flashbulbs and mild chaos. From Bad Bunny’s history-making Schiaparelli tuxedo to Chappell Roan’s theatrical Mugler, the mood was anything but restrained. The colours were bold and cinematic: deep greens, ruby reds, electric blues, and pitch blacks that absorbed every hint of light. Not a pastel in sight, which tells you everything about where red carpet fashion is headed right now.
What makes the Grammys red carpet fascinating is its disregard for rules. This is where musicians, not actors, set the tone, and subtlety rarely gets an invite. Some stars leaned into fantasy, others into shock, and a few landed squarely in both camps. There was drama, camp, and a surprising amount of couture for a night supposedly devoted to music. Whether it was elegance or eccentricity that won the evening depends on your taste, but one thing’s certain: no other event turns self-expression into such a high-stakes performance.
And as always, the stars delivered plenty to talk about. From Sabrina Carpenter’s softer Valentino moment to Billie Eilish’s experimental tailoring, and Rosé’s pocketed Saint Laurent dress that divided opinions, the night’s looks reminded us that at the Grammys, the line between fashion triumph and catastrophe is often just a single sequin away.
Sabrina Carpenter
in Valentino
Arguably one of the best outfits of the evening, with a stunning sheer cape, and embellished corset in small sewn in flower patterns, Alessandro Michele knows how to make a statement.
Bad Bunny in Schiaparelli Couture
Daniel Roseberry is one of those incredible one in a lifetime designers who really gets it. Every man under the sun loves a good old black suit to these events, but Bad Bunny isn’t just anyone, and neither is Schiaparelli. I think the high waisted exaggerated hourglass silhouette looks really good, and creates for a very dramatic effect.
Rosé in Giambattista Valli
This look feels like a love/hate relationship. While on one hand I really love the little black dress moment, I think the drapes could have been more, however, execution is really good. We can see the belt area lays extremely flat and then expands into almost a balloon shape towards the bottom, Anthony VaccarelloGiambattista Valli knows his job, but could have created more intrigue, and what about the jewellery? Where’s the necklace?
Olivia Dean in Chanel
Zara Larsson in Germanier
Sombr in Valentino
Doechii in Roberto Cavalli
I actually like the opulent purple of the dress, paired with a ton of hand sewn sequins, frayed edges and ruffles, it adds an interesting dynamic to the overall look.
REI AMI in Guvanch, EJAE in Dior, Audrey Nuna in Thom Browne
The only group I am happy to include toward the top of the list for best dressed this season, mainly because the stylists realised that they are individuals and don’t need to come dressed like the third cousin in an extended family. In addition, Thom Browne could never do wrong, 10s across the board.
Lady Gaga in Matières Fécales
Is the old Lady Gaga back? The internet is chanting, but I am not one to believe in conspiracy theories. This gowns feels as gothic, as it’s a homage to original McQueen. Love the silhoutte, and the almost wearable aspect which must feel weird for Gaga.
YUNGBLUD and Sharon Osbourne
Yungblud won Grammy for the best rock performance, he’s wearing a very classic 80s rock look.
Paris Hilton wore Nicolas Jebran
Would it be a Paris Hilton look without the sequins? Probably not, but this stunning dress is everything. Replace the choker with a pearls to match the bracelet, and this would be 100%. Oh, and let’s not forget the new hairstyle, really loving this transformation.
FKA Twigs in Paolo Carzana
I love how FKA Twigs never disapoints and always wears and outfit which just feels authentically hers. Paolo Carzana is the perfect choice, like out of a fairy tale more costume less couture, which here works in her favour.
Billie Eilish in Hodakova
Love seeing big celebrities supporting smaller artists. The inverted trousers, while nothing new, really remind me of her earlier eras. Having said that the whole look shows a lot more mature Billie, from the oversized suit, to the inverted trousers and the while socks, there’s something about the styling which signals - I’m no longer a teen, in a good way.
Miley Cyrus in Celine
This is a very tomboyish look coming from Celine, with all the gilded lucky charms on the side of a biker jacket, with a white shirt revealing from underneath and black pleated trousers. Definitely an interesting look.
Tyla in Dsquared2
Last time I review Tyla she was wearing that hourglass gown at the Met by Balmain. Ironically, she is once again dressed in a similar colour gown, albeit a lot less inspiring.
Chappell Roan in Mugler
Shock factor at 100%, I will go wash my face and scroll past.
