Lacoste Launches Permanent Coffee Concept in Paris
Lacoste has taken a bold step beyond fashion with the opening of its first permanent Café Lacoste in Paris. Nestled on Avenue Franklin D. Roosevelt, just a few steps from the brand’s flagship store, the café marks a shift from ephemeral pop-ups to a dedicated lifestyle space. Developed in partnership with the Giraudi Group, the 100-square-metre venue merges the Crocodile’s tennis heritage with contemporary culinary experiences, creating a space where design, gastronomy, and retail intersect seamlessly.
Inside, the café’s interior pays homage to Lacoste’s DNA with a palette of deep green, terracotta, and off-white. Architectural lines evoke a tennis court, while refined materials and carefully considered detailing create an atmosphere that is both inviting and sophisticated. The space doubles as a concept store, offering French porcelain branded with the Lacoste name, limited-edition textiles, and a curated selection of apparel.
The menu, curated by executive chef Thierry Paludetto, reimagines French classics with playful precision. From club sandwiches and seasonal salads to the signature “Iconic Polo” dessert, each dish is designed to delight both the eye and the palate. The drinks menu features artisan-roasted coffees, inventive lattes in flavours such as pistachio and ube, and the signature “L’Eau de Croco,” a blend of coconut water, matcha, and ginger. Classic cocktails are also revisited, including “Le Chose,” first invented by René Lacoste in 1967.
Café Lacoste is more than a coffee spot. It is a full immersion into the brand’s art de vivre, a place where fashion, design, and taste converge. Whether browsing the concept store or enjoying a carefully crafted latte, visitors are invited to experience the Crocodile’s universe in a new, permanent form.
